Eva Wibberley and Friends

Eva and Friends is back after a few years break with eight fantastic local artists and makers.
Eva Wibberley’s semi-abstract paintings are inspired by the coastal landscapes of Sussex and Cornwall. Her focus is the constant variation of the sea and sky in contrast to the rocks and shore, the changes of mood, light, and colour.
Amelia Brokenbrow works with porcelain. A graduate in Fine Art at Kingston University, she subsequently trained with production potteries in Newcastle and London and has established her practice in Brighton.
Stuart Bullen specialises in printing and papermaking but also paints and has done many years of life drawing. He incorporates colourful abstract shapes with figurative elements.
Pauline Crook designs hand-printed cushions on quality natural fabrics that celebrate her surroundings. The Downs , the sea, gardens, woods, and words are her starting points.
Cat Guerrier started making clay beads after a pottery course. Prior to this, she collected beads of all sources and made upcycled jewellery. It was her love for porcelain and stoneware ceramics that led her to the creation of necklaces and earrings.
Carol Parker‘s prints, collages, and assemblages are inspired by the beach. She loves to experiment with different materials, giving new life to discarded items.
Sally Smith is a Brighton based painter who explores the emotional resonance of everyday objects. Drawing on still-life traditions, she arranges personal possessions, inherited treasures, and curious found items into whimsical yet thoughtful compositions.
