We are sorry to announce that due to unforeseen circumstances, we are postponing our open house events due to take place on Saturday 18th May. We plan to offer a private viewing of artwork during the evening of Friday 21st June. An exhibition of stunning GCSE ceramics based on the theme of Natural Forms, with fine art paintings, drawings, prints and sketchbooks and GCSE Design Technology work. Ceramics at Varndean is named an ‘Area of Excellence’ by education review charity Challenge Partners, and pieces were designed and produced on site in our purpose built ceramics studio. We will also have a mini performing arts showcase from Dance, Drama and Music students as well as some tempting refreshments.
