Ceramists, Bex and Stan, are excited to be hosting new and returning contemporary makers to their architectural, Scandi-inspired home and pottery studio. Carefully curated to showcase modern craft and design and long-listed as best open house for 2 years running  – welcome to Hygge!

Hygge will be hosting Meet the Maker events throughout the month, where guest artists will share the craftsmanship behind their work (please visit their website for details). And once again serving home-baked cakes and refreshments in the garden.

Throw to Fire – wheel-thrown functional ceramics, characterised by the use of stained clays to create homewares to be loved and used everyday.

Spark and Bell – purpose-driven and sustainable lighting design studio

Caterina Lay Montoya – fine furniture made using hand tools and traditional techniques

Make Relief – furniture and unique objects, combining digital fabrication processes and handmade crafts

Fair Jewellery – timeless, responsibly sourced and ethical jewellery

Cahoots – furniture and homewares, combining a playful graphic feel with traditional woodwork

Kalsang Shoba – stunningly detailed woodcut prints

Elsa Eleni – bright and bold illustrations of interior and botanicals scenes

Shiv Textiles – sustainable textiles, rescuing and repurposing dead-stock yarn from the fashion industry
