Opening my home for the first year, I am taking it back to its roots as a former General Store in an original Art Deco era building.

The main exhibition will feature paintings and prints from Francesca Bray. A lot of my work is inspired by wild Atlantic landscapes. However my recent work is also informed by the experience of Motherhood. I use various mediums including oil paint, printing, fabric and embroidery. A common theme is capturing a sense of natural light and particular use of colour. In all my work there is a sense of the wild, both in nature but also in a primal, maternalistic sense.

Also on show will be giftable handmade fabric pieces by my good friend Waste Not Designs. Making useful and lovely things for you and your home from discarded fabric scraps. Cushions, bags, pouches and more in contemporary designs inspired by traditional patchwork patterns and natural forms. We’re also working on an exciting collaboration involving my hand printed and dyed linens sewn beautifully by Emma into something new.
