We are delighted to open our lively and colourful house to visitors again this year.  You will find a wide range of visually interesting work on display by a number of very well established local artists and artisans.

Martin Brown paints semi-abstract figures, often in slightly ambiguous space.  The work is expressive, dynamic and colourful, showing an appreciation of human form, mark-making, texture and line. www.martinobrown.artweb.com                                                               Instagram: raspberrysurpriseoh

Gill Brown revives artefacts using gold, silver of copper leaf.  She has recently ventured into gilding on glass, exploring the effects that can be achieved with this ancient technique.

Fran Brown has been working with fused glass since 2005 designing a range of fused glass pieces and painted leaded glasswork. Her designs incorporate images of the things she loves….birds, flowers and nature with a joyful lilt.

Sue Penrose is a Brighton-based mosaic artist, working mainly with glass and specialising in large scale work and bespoke commissions. Sue will be displaying mosaic garden art and indoor mirrors.  Instagram: suepenrosemosaics

Theresa Stone produces Textile art combining Cyanotype printing, hand embroidery, free motion machine embroidery and paint to create depth and texture.

Grahame Robson creates a range of beautiful wooden forms, including lamp bases and platters, using reclaimed and spalted hardwoods.

Adam Crisp paints contemporary landscape paintings of the South Downs. Semi abstracted forms are created from thinly layered paint and sketchy, gestural mark making.

Gallit Shaltiel adapts ideas to a whole range of media from paper cutting and print to, more recently, ceramics. Inspiration comes from many sources: at times the inner world, delving into subconscious state of mind and other times from cultural references, museum artefacts or anatomical diagrams.                                                                        @gallit.shaltiel. www.gallitshaltiel.com
