Hi and Welcome to Gallery 19a!

This year we will be featuring some of our very own resident artists and their latest collection of works: Anna May, Cat Guerrier of Orangecat, Rosie Shorter of Otti, Marie Bertel of Nouare Jewellery, Cassia Beck, Rachel Entwistle & Natasha Cawley.

Alongside will be the work of some very fine, local crafters and makers here in Hollingdean, Brighton and the wider surrounding areas of Sussex: Sue Herman, Heather Parr, Lisa Dear, Emily Jolley, Jen Green, Paul Hounsell and The Sussex Bee.

There are 14 of us in total so there will be a wide variety of work on show from fabric sculptures to printmaking, watercolours to ceramics, collage, basketry, jewellery, and copper art.

We have 4 artists & makers with us for the first time and we are excited to see their work in the gallery space. We will be opening for the last three weekends of May from 11 am to 5 pm and look forward to seeing you there…
