Jane Palmer & Friends

Another fresh mix of fine art this year! Jane is showing her newest portraits, still lifes and landscapes in oils. She was AOH Artist of the Year in 2019.
As usual we have Nigel Hunter’s stunning sculptures transforming our garden into what he calls ‘a conversation with the quiet’, and Stef Hunter’s handmade ceramics inspired by the spirit of the coastline.
Four guest artists join us for the first time:
Mark Findlay, who won the photography category in last year’s AOH Artist of the Year awards.
Jing Wang, who practises traditional Chinese brush painting and calligraphy.
Jude Clynic, a printmaker whose wood engravings are inspired by the fluidity of the sea.
Sarah Corney, who paints in acrylics to celebrate the beauty and vibrancy of Brighton and the Downs.
This May we also present a programme of talks and live music related to the art on display. Our speaker is Dr Alexandra Loske, art historian and curator of the Royal Pavilion. Dates and times for the talks and musical performances are at https://janepalmerbrighton.co.uk/events/
